MANHUNT

With: Tyler Anne Snell

Congratulations to "Janice H." the winner in Tyler Anne's giveaway. Thank you to all who participated!

Hey, everyone!! Thanks for having me on the blog!

This month I’m celebrating a lot of things. My first ever book, MANHUNT, hits shelves today—starting the beginning of my life-long dream career—and I’m marrying one of my long-time friends with the same name.

Yes, you read that right.

I’m getting married to a man named Tyler and yes, it’s a little over a week away. I keep getting asked how I’m handling it all (I’m currently writing on a new four-book Intrigue series too) and I’ll tell you, it’s not easy! But, I wouldn’t have it any other way!

So to celebrate moving a step closer to my dream and marrying the man of my dreams, I’d like to offer two prizes in one for a lucky commenter!

Giveaway
Win a signed copy of MANHUNT and a short personalized video!
All you need to do is answer this: What’s your ideal Happily Ever After ending to a book? Engagement? Marriage? A kiss with a promise of a future together? Leave your answer in the comments!

My biggest hope for my debut novel is that all of you enjoy the story and characters I’ve created!

Detective Braydon Thatcher and Sophia Hardwick are a duo to be reckoned with as they try to save three missing women while attempting to avoid the distraction created by their strong mutual attraction. Both stubborn, both determined, Braydon and Sophia are thrust into a fast-paced thriller where they’ll have to figure out how to fight the past while trying to look forward to the future. How far would you go for family? How far would you go for revenge?

MANHUNT
Print release today! eBook release April 1!

An innocent beauty looking for answers turns to a detective looking for vengeance…

***

One day. One town. Three missing women. Things like this didn't happen in Culpepper. Except that they had—once before. Eleven years ago, young Braydon Thatcher was unable to stop a tragic murder, one that hit painfully close to home. Now a detective, Braydon can't help but notice the eerie similarities between the two crimes. But he has to focus on the present and keep distractions to a minimum. Distractions like Sophia Hardwick, who crashes into town like a Florida thunderstorm, demanding to know where her missing sister is. The attraction between them is nearly his undoing. But he has to protect her, because it's clear someone is resurrecting ghosts in order to punish Braydon. And if he lets his emotions for Sophia get the best of him, she could become yet another victim…

Excerpt
“Braydon, I’m only going to tell you this once. I don’t, and will not, blame you for the actions of a psychotic man. You did nothing wrong.”

“But now I’m afraid he’s after you.” She may not have known Braydon long but she did know that the vulnerability he was showing now was rare. It pulled at her heartstrings.

“We don’t know that for certain,” she said.

“He wants to make me suffer. What better way than to use you.”

“You care about this entire town and all of its people. He can use any of us.” She said it to lighten the mood. They were skating around saying something significant again. Sophia could feel it. She watched as the conflicted man next to her chose his words carefully.

“He knows you’re different.”

  1. Congratulations on your first book release and on your upcoming marriage! I don't know how you are doing it all but you sound happy and that's all that matters. I will be putting this book on my wish list because I definitely want to read it. Favorite HEA is a proposal and a kiss with that promise of love forever. jmvarner50@hotmail.com

  2. I love epilogues! I want everything neatly tied up in one little package so they don't necessarily have to be married or even engaged, especially if their story is part of a series and we'll be seeing them again in a future book. I do hate cliffhangers and try to avoid them, although I have read a couple that were very good.

    1. I'm also a fan of epilogues and also not the biggest fan of cliff hangers! Unless it's part of series! Then I can deal with it more but, dangit, I need closure!

  7. Definitely a kiss with a promise of a happy ending if the book is going to be part of a series or even interconnected characters over several books. If it is a novel on its own, then I like seeing engagement or marriage.

  10. Oops, I forgot to answer your question! I am not too fussy about the HEA endings to the romances I read. Mainly, though, the HEA ending isn't really an HEA unless there is a promise of a permanent life together for the hero and heroine. And that can take any form of promise the author dreams up. ;-)

  17. It depends on the story, Some stories end perfectly with the ending. Some I would like to see an epilogue just to make sure that all well is happening in the hero and heroine's HEA.
