The Dating Game With Mitch and Caroline

Giveaway Alert!

Adrienne Giordano and I are celebrating the release of Cheating Justice, the second book in our Justice Team Series. We had such a hoot writing the two main characters, Mitch and Caroline, and wanted a fun way to introduce them to you so you could really get to know them and their exciting personalities. Adrienne came up with an idea…why not ask them Dating Game questions and see how they respond?

If you’re Adrienne and I, that’s a little scary because with Mitch and Caroline, there’s no telling what they might say. But, being the brave women we are, we thought we’d give it a go.

To kick things off, Mitch, the fugitive hero on the run in Cheating Justice will answer some questions today, and Caroline, our FBI sniper heroine will respond to his answers and take a few more questions tomorrow!

Misty Evans: So, Mitch, thanks for joining me today on Just Romantic Suspense. Ready for your first question?
Mitch Monroe: One caveat: I’m only doing this because Caroline is forcing me too. She threatened my life if I said no.
ME: I like Caroline. She’s the only person who can keep you in line.
MM: She’s got me wrapped around her—ahem—trigger finger.

ME: First question: if you had to describe yourself as an animal, what kind of animal would you be?
MM: That’s easy. I’m a wolf…swift, lethal, a bit of a pack animal.
ME: What kind of animal would you say Caroline is?
She’d be a wild horse because she’s smart and fast and has that long hair that drives me nuts. She’s also stubborn as hell.

ME: What would you describe as a "perfect date"?
MM: Sex, sex, and more sex, with Caroline of course, with a side of beer and a Knick’s game.
ME: What would be Caroline’s perfect date?
MM: Caroline’s perfect date would be shooting my likeness at the gun range.

ME: Mitch, if you had to give yourself a nickname, what nickname would you choose?
MM: I would never give himself a nickname – uncool. Man Code states your peers must bestow a nickname on you after you’ve earned it.
ME: What nickname would Caroline pick?
MM: I don’t know what she’d pick, but secretly, I call her Miss Type A. She’s totally neurotic when she gets on a case. Turns me on every time.

ME: What song best describes your life, and why?
MM: TNT by AC/DC. Self-explanatory.
ME: What song best describes Caroline, and why?
MM: Caroline’s song is How Do I Stop Loving You by Barry Manilow. Again, self-explanatory.

ME: Mitch, what is your best pick-up line?
MM: Since I only want to pick up Caroline, all I’d have to say is, “What to see my gun, Special Agent?”
ME: Tacky, but I suppose that would work. What would Caroline’s best pickup line be?
MM: A threat… “I’m going to make you pay…all night long!”

ME: Thank you Mitch for answering my questions. I can’t wait to see Caroline’s interview tomorrow.

Readers, if you’d like to more about Mitch and Caroline, here’s the blurb of Cheating Justice. We hope you enjoy their sexy, yet heartfelt journey!

  1. I was accused of something that I didn't do. My workplace has a very strict policy about using the computers for personal use at work. The IT (System) registered my name on the CPU. When I was given another CPU, the computer guy from System didn't removed my name. He kept telling me that he removed my name when he didn't. Well, the CPU was given eventually assigned to a student worker. The student worker was on Facebook a lot.

The System Division ran a report to see if anyone in my workplace was going to unauthorized websites. My name came up as being on Facebook the majority of the time. It was reported to the General Manager. Even the computer guy from System started his accusation against me as the abuser. I could have lost my job right there and then.

All I could say was my Supervisor knew me well enough that I wouldn't do something like that and had me locate my IP address. The IP address cleared me. To this day, my name has never been removed from the CPU.

    1. Hi, Kai. Well, at least it was only Facebook! Still, that's a little scary considering a lot of companies will fire employees for being online.

      Thanks for stopping!

    2. Kai, that's crazy! I'm glad you were cleared but someone needed to kick that IT guy in the butt.

  2. This sounds really good. Why am I just hearing about it? I love finding new authors. New to me, that is. Thanks!

    1. Hi, Debbie! Thank you! We just launched the series in January with Stealing Justice so it's a fairly new series. Misty and I have a ton of fun writing together. Half the time I'm too busy laughing and I forget it's actually work. :)

  3. That was awesome Misty & Mitch! I can't wait to read Adrienne & Caroline's interview tomorrow! :)

    1. Thank you, Amy. As usual, Caroline doesn't necessarily agree with some of Mitch's opinions. :)

  4. Holy cow, what an interview you cooked up on this post! Really great...funny too. The combo of Mitch and Caroline sounds combustible for sure. Just the ticket for a good read. Thanks for the post.

    1. Janice, you are so right. Mitch and Carolyn can be very combustible! Good luck in the giveaway.

  5. Love Grey and Sydney from STEALING JUSTICE. Enjoyed the interview with Mitch -just downloaded the book. Can't wait to read CHEATING JUSTICE.

    1. Thank you, Mary! Grey make several appearances in Cheating Justice, and Syd gets in a scene before the end, too! Happy reading!

  6. Thankfully I was never blamed or framed for anything. Thank you for the chance to enter the giveaway and for introducing me to a new series.

    1. Hi Rachel! Thank you for stopping by and entering the giveaway. Have a great weekend!

  7. A friend turned on me and I was blamed. Oh dear...
Please enter me in the draw.
