Devil's Shroud Series

I love reading a book that makes me want to jump in the car, fly in a plane or otherwise visit the location where the story takes place. Writing the second book in the DEVIL'S SHROUD series makes me want to pay a visit to the rocky Oregon coastline and meet the people who make up the small tight-knit community. After visiting these people over and over, they are like family and I hate to say goodbye when I end the book. So don't worry! There are two more books after this one! Join me in Cape Churn where the fog can get so thick you can get lost and strange and dangerous activities are happening all the time.

Duped, shamed and abandoned to pick up the pieces, Cape Churn nurse, Emma Jenkins, wants redemption, for her family and for herself. When her fiancé absconded with the funds for the new children's wing on the Cape Churn hospital, the town didn't blame Emma, she blamed herself for not seeing the truth. Now she's out to solve a one-hundred-and-twenty year old mystery surrounding her great-grandfather's death and the disappearance of the gold shipment on the missing ship the Anna Leigh. Feeling as if she's at last found the final resting place of the doomed ship, Emma prepares for the fateful dive that will redeem her family. One small hitch, the dive boat captain has taken on an extra diver.

Former Navy Seal, current government secret operative, Creed Thomas, is following a shipment from Russia that disappears off the coast of Oregon near Cape Churn. He teams with a local diver to find it and bring in whatever it contains to stop a rumored attack on the west coast of the nation. Together Emma and Creed discover a yacht and a body. The race begins to locate the cargo before a terrorist can use it to destroy millions.
