  4. There are some great books in this pool! My summer plans? Just enjoy the time the kids are out of school and work on house projects. My summer reading goals? As for my reading goals? I don't have to set any of those because I read constantly and my TBR pile grows daily! It is my one addiction I have to control (just ask my kids and husband). Thanks for the awesome giveaway and good luck to everyone!

  20. My summer plans include a visit to Orlando for the first time and then a 7 day cruise! I'm going to Cozumel, MX; Belize; Roatan (Honduras); and Costa Maya, MX. We have 4 kids and our oldest just graduated from high school so this cruise is her celebratory gift. My other 3 kids are NOT GOING on the trip. My MIL is also going and will share a room with our oldest daughter. I am terribly excited and have only a minimal amount of guilt over not taking the other kids (ages 13, 10 and 4). I have a good amount of nook books saved for the flight from the West coast to Florida. I'm so excited- only 43 days to go!

Love the giveaway. I've only read one book on the list and several are on my wishlist. Happy 4th of July everyone!!!

  22. AWESOME giveaway!

Unfortunately my summer plans consist of work, work and more work. I'm in healthcare so all the overtime is a must but I can't wait for August when it should die down. I'm trying to fit time in to read but by the time I get home I'm just too tired :( I'm saving up for a big vacation in the fall or early spring and I can't wait!!!

Thanks again for such a fabulous giveaway!

I'm going to the beach for a wedding in a couple of weeks so I'll get a nice vacation in as well(where I will, of course, read some more!). And I start a new job working in voter protection in August-- can't wait! Hope everyone has a great summer!

  26. Very interesting reading everyone's vacation plans. My family and I just returned from St. Kitts. Had a wonderful time. St.Kitts is the island on which the suspenseful plot of my mystery fiction novel Desperate Measures takes place. It was super trip with some great PR for my book.

For the rest of the summer, I will be taking my son and daughter to Busch Gardens, they love the roller coasters.

As far as reading, unfortunately I won't have that luxury but will be writing away to finish my second book, Desperate Deceptions.

    Have a great summer everyone!

Just introduced the youngest 2 kids to the joys of fishing (although I still have to bait the hooks and take the fish off) and they LOVE it. Also, I have gotten the kids in the summer reading program at the library and we are gonna read our little butts off. LOL

  38. What an awesome giveaway! Great reading for the rest of the summer!!

I'm leaving next Saturday for Puerto Vallarta with my 42 yr old daughter. We stay at a charming, old, very Mexican small adults-only boutique hotel across the street from the beach in the Romantic Zone. It's walking distance to the mercado and malecon areas, tons of shopping and dining in the area, and our hotel is part of a large family hotel between us and the beach - we use their beach and bar. It's our annual escape from reality.

A couple months ago I bought a Kindle Fire. I've got Kindle on my phone, but other than a few short stories by favorite authors, I've only downloaded free books, and read none on the Fire. My summer challenge is to get my butt out of Pinterest and figure out how to use my Kindle Fire. A friend has printed out all the directions for me.

Getting some great new romantic suspense would be such a treat! Thanks for having the contest.

  39. I love summer time! I love reading by the pool, reading while floating in the pool, reading, reading, reading. Summer and reading go together so well. I collect books all winter just so I have a huge supply to choose from. Then there are my favorites that call to me, and of course I read those again. Yes, its crazy, but I love it!
    Happy summer reading, all!

  47. I haven't been to Las Vegas closed to twenty years. This would be my first trip since 1993. Vegas has changed alot since then. Since I don't know what to do with myself, I'm bringing my ereader with 16G of ebooks. I think that is enough for a two nights and three days trip.

I'm also heading up to Ventura to visit my sister. We're very likely going to beam ebooks at each other. I know, instead of playing laser tag, we're playing ebooks tag.
