COLBY LAW

Congratulations to Janet Kerr and Colleen C., the winners of Debra's giveaway. Thank you to all who participated.

Fourteen years ago I spent several months writing a story about a man who had fled his life as a deep cover CIA operative because someone—he couldn’t be sure who—wanted him dead and he was fairly certain it was someone inside, someone he trusted. This man, Jack Raine, could no longer trust anyone, not even the master of all spies, Lucas Camp. Meanwhile, an ambitious new investigator at the Colby Agency was dying to get a real assignment—the kind those sexy, tough guys at the Colby Agency got all the time. Katherine Robertson finally got her chance to show she had the right stuff. All she had to do was find and bring in Jack Raine. Easy, right? Well, you’ll have to read SAFE BY HIS SIDE to get the answer to that one.

Twelve years ago this September, SAFE BY HIS SIDE, the first Colby Agency story, was published by Harlequin Intrigue. Now, a dozen years later and the 48th title in the series, COLBY LAW, has just hit the shelves! Next week a special, free Colby short story, LITTLE GIRL LOST, will be available on www.eharlequin.com. And, coming next month is HIGH NOON and then in July is COLBY ROUNDUP. As a special treat for Colby fans, COLBY ROUNDUP, the 50th Colby, will include a series companion guide! The Colby series is the largest, in terms of the number of books, original author series in Harlequin’s history and I am so proud that the readers still enjoy the series and allow me the privilege of writing the stories I truly love.

With this new Colby trilogy, the agency has opened an office in Texas. What better way to celebrate the 50th Colby than to take it to Texas and roundup some smokin’ hot cowboys? Victoria Colby-Camp absolutely approves. But not to worry, the office in Chicago is still taking cases and will be featured in coming stories. All week I’ve been asking readers to tell me about their favorite Colby Agency story. Please tell me yours!

Debra will be giving away 2 signed copies of COLBY LAW to two lucky commenters in the US or CANADA. If the winner is overseas they will receive a digital copy.

Giveaway ends 9pm EST May 5th. Please supply your email in the post. You may use spaces or full text for security. (ex. jsmith at gmail dot com) If you do not wish to supply your email, or have trouble posting, please email justromanticsuspense @ gmail.com with a subject title of JRS GIVEAWAY to be entered in the current giveaway.

  15. My first Colby Agency is Agent Cowboy. I just love Trent Tucker. It is quite difficult to find the back copy of the older books in the series except in ebook format.

  17. For me it would be either Colby vs Colby or Colby Lockdown. :) Love this series and I honestly didn't realize its the longest running series with Harlequin. Congratulations on the release and that honor.
