and for showing your respect to our amazing Veterans.
BTW - I want to share a review with you of my anthology story: SEALed With A Kiss from BOOKPUSHERS.COM
"SEALed with a Kiss by Cindy Gerard ~~
I absolutely love the Black Ops Inc books, so when I saw we got a chance for a sneak peak at Luke and Val’s honeymoon… *melt* The two are on a deserted island relaxing and playing. When Luke makes a bad judgement call and gets stuck in the water while the tide is rising, Val will have to face her fears to save her new husband’s life. This was a short and sweet story and I absolutely loved this little snippet!!" A+

    Yea! I love that review!

  8. I can't wait to get my hands on that book! Anything I can do to support veterans, I will. These brave men and women carry scars, of various kinds, and were willing to bear that burden to preserve our freedom. I'm always honored and humbled by their service. Thank you for participating in this book along with the other authors. Can't wait to read it (and stare at the cover) ! - Whitney

  10. Bought my copy of SEAL of my Dreams this morning and started with Luke and Val's story! :) Have to put it down so we can march in the Veteran's Day parade! My husband is active duty and just returned from a long deployment and my daughter is part of an all military children Girl Scout troop. This life isn't always easy, but we love the friends and experiences we've been blessed with all along the way. Thank you for supporting such a great cause with this book and for supporting military families everywhere.

  16. Hi Cindy! I love your books, for me they are the right balance of action/adventure and romance. So thanks for writing them! And thanks to all the veterans out there who have sacrificed so much so I can sit around and enjoy reading. I would also like to thanks the military families around the world because their sacrifice is just as big. The children and spouses whose unfaltering support of their soldiers is a driving force behind the successes of our military. So THANKS to the soldiers, past, present and future! And extra special thanks to the families which love & support them! HEather K

  17. I have read all of your books Cindy and really enjoy your writing style. I downloaded Seal of My Dreams late last night (rather, early this morning) and have already read three of the stories. I'm thinking I need to get the paperback version so I can admire the cover up close and personal :)

  18. Well, I'm not American but I'm really grateful for all hard works the veteran had done to allow citizen like us can sleep well all night.

Especially, when the flood is consuming Bangkok like now.

Love your book. Thanks for one of the best romance stories I've ever read.

  19. Hi Cindy! I LOOOVE your books so much : ) My brother is a Captain in the Navy and I'am so proud and thankful to him and all those who have and are currently serving. Iam the 'stay at home Aunt' to his kids everyday so I use my nights reading and re-reading your books. They are the GREATEST escape after a long day of chasing my neice and nephew around : ) Thank you!

  20. I was waiting all day yesterday for this book to download, dived right in as soon as it did too lol I think it's a wonderful thing all you ladies did contributing to this terrific cause. I was reading Suz Brockmann's comments on Facebook this morning about the huge amount of Veterans that die homeless on the streets. That's so sad, I wish both our countries, I'm in Canada, would value these men as much as they deserve

It is so good to see an author show soldiers in a great way- especially the stud muffins. The soldiers of yesterday, today and tomorrow deserve our thanks every day not just today. Thanks for writing such good books about them.

  28. So, since my last post, among other things, I read Val and Luke's story in Seal of My Dreams. LOVED it!!! It was so scary...as was his really bad poetry :-), but OMG, so glad she made it in time!!!! Great story.

  29. LOL Kris. Glad you enjoyed the story. I wanted to write something a little different ... still suspenseful and romantic but not involving a terrorist threat ... and I loved how Val rose to the occasion.

  31. Though here in Holland the SEAL/Veterans culture is a world apart through romance novels I've gotten to learn a lot about them and I bought SEAL OF MY DREAMS today to support the awesome charity and the US Veterans!

So many of my favorite authors contributed to this anthology! Happy Release Day and Happy Veterans Day!

  32. Love your stories! My husband served in the Marines before Sept 11th, and his little brother is in the army, having finished his tour in Iraq. But he gets deployed to S Korea the day after Christmas... Boo. My cousin also toured in Iraq, but was Med D/C'd for PTSD after losing most of his squad. Veterans day can be hard on those who feel they didn't do enough or let their country/comrades down... But they are no less deserving of our gratitude.
